Chimayo - 4" pot
Grown in its namesake farming town in Northern New Mexico for the last 300 years. Early maturing and is traditionally grown above 6000 ft. Has 3 inch long fruits. Makes an excellent chili powder that has a mild heat with notes of fruitiness and chocolate.
Black Krim 4" pot
Black Krim combines bold, smoky flavor and good texture with an unusual appearance. Deep brown/red, 8-16 oz. tomatoes have brown/green shoulders that get darker with more heat and sunlight. High-yielding. Indeterminate.
Cherokee Purple 4" pot
Famously rich flavor and texture make this a favorite among heirloom tomato enthusiasts. Medium-Large 8-12oz fruits 72 days.
Pueblo - 4" pot
A Colorado heirloom, the Pueblo Chilé is an improved landrace Mirasol variety. In other words, its many thick fleshed fruits “point at the sun”. It has been produced in Pueblo County, Colorado since at least the early 1900s and possibly as early as the 1850s at the Huerfano settlement. Dr. Michael Bartolo of Colorado State University improved the pepper and named it “Mosco” in the 1990s and released it back to area farmers. It is a medium-hot roasting pepper (~10,000 Scoville) with 5-8″ fruits. 75 days from transplant.
Ace -4" pot
Extra-early, highly productive standard.Huge yields of medium-size, 3-4 lobed fruits. Has apparent tolerance to blossom drop as nearly every flower produces a pepper. Widely adapted but performs particularly well in cool climates where bell peppers are difficult to grow successfully. 50 days green, 70 days red
